Bushtits

A small family of about a dozen species, nearly all of them Eurasian; only one reached the Americas. Tiny, long-tailed and almost never still, they travel in flocks outside the breeding season and keep contact through continuous thin calls. All build elaborate enclosed nests woven from moss, lichen and spider silk. Cooperative breeding, in which extra adults help at a single nest, is characteristic of the whole family.
