The park was very warm, and the beach had far too many people on it for birds. The north end is given over to dog parks, which settles the question there as well. It only gets quiet where the path turns west, and that is where the songbirds start. Nothing new: twelve frames of birds already on the list, and an evening that says more about a city park in July than about the birds.
