Reed Warblers & Allies

A family of roughly 60 mostly brown, long-billed songbirds centred on wetlands and dense vegetation in the Old World. Many are identified more readily by voice than plumage, and several weave deep nests between upright reed stems. Most temperate species migrate long distances to tropical wintering grounds.
