Two days on the coast of the Juan de Fuca Strait, with plenty of shorebirds and gulls, and a new species in the Short-billed Gull. The sunny weather brought a few more new species as well, mostly far out on the water, which is why some of the photos are on the rougher side. The Salt Creek Recreation Area is well worth a visit, with a great view over the sea and across to Canada, and apparently you can sometimes see whales.
