Bewick's Wren is a small brown wren with a long tail and a clear white eyebrow. It lives in scrub, open woodland, gardens and other habitats with dense low cover. The bird searches through branches and leaf litter for insects and spiders. Males have varied songs, and local populations develop distinct song dialects. It nests in natural cavities, nest boxes and sheltered spaces in buildings.
