Arboretum, Foster Island, Union Bay

A cool morning under good weather, starting in the Arboretum. It is a wide, deep wood and hard to work: plenty to hear, much less to see, and the water's edge turned out more productive than the trees. Foster Island offered better lines again, and the day finished at Union Bay. Seven new species, and the Spotted Towhee proved as tame as everything else here.
