Getting there without a car
Virpazar is a practical public-transport gateway to Lake Skadar. Montenegro's railway serves Virpazar on the Podgorica–Bar line, while the national-park authority lists visitor centres in Virpazar and Vranjina and offers lake cruises and guided birdwatching. Check the current railway timetable and park information before travelling.
